They say that when are woman changes her hair she’s either breaking up with you. Or just has.
Ive has two great haircuts this year 😜
Having a great relationship with your hair stylist/ colorist is SO important. For many reasons. Let me tell you why.
On average if you are getting your hair done well you are spending about $2,400 a year. Depending on your location, salon, and what you are having done.
Like many relationship, it’s built on trust. You are putting something we as men, and women love In the hands of someone else’s. Literally.
That’s factoring in their lifestyle. If they've slept well. I’ve read a few faux pas on the to’s and not to’s on salon ettiquite. I may do a future post.
If you have a good colorist/ stylist. He or she is expensive. They say that your stylist is better than therapy and cheaper. I say you need to see a new one if that’s the case. 😜🙃
People have different experiences with their salons.
One friend of mine is a very active, social. Career women and mother. So going to the salon is a nice quiet time to be pampered.
Another friend Of mine. A male said that his stylist was also a friend and did an in home and cut their hair bad on purpose. 😂😂😱
I’m like a kid at the dentist. You still have to tell me to be quiet because I’ll keep talking to you with your fist in my mouth.
So put me in a room full of fun, creative boss women. And I’m in heaven.
I found my amazing stylist at an off chance.
My kids were having year book photos the next day and the amazing experienced mother that I am. Went to a kids haircutting place the night before. Great idea right? I ended up leaving furious with two kids crying. Franticlly posting on FB calling around to see who could take us at 8 o clock so last minute. My last friend had moved to a new location. They weren’t open.
Lucky for me though. The owner answered the phone and said. Come right in. I’ll take care of you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
This is where my new relationship started.
Having a stylist In my opinion is a gf. Someone who you can talk to about people you may all know. But can’t tell. Like the said friend is in the room with you and you want to talk trash and vent But can’t 😂 it like girl time in a huge place. I hear barbershops are simliar. Although maybe A little different type of conversation ;) 😂
So being the hot mess that I am. My two children and I got to go to the best salon. I switched half way. I don’t remember how it started and I know hair is loyalty and seeing someone else is like cheating. I got lost in the sauce. I’ve heard of crazy stories. Seriously. Ghosting. Break up texts. I’m like with your stylist?! I’m so grateful and happy to find my fit.

I was going through a difficult time in my life and just needed to feel myself again.
A woman I didn’t know that well yet convinced me to chop off ( I was on the fence about ) 12 inches of my Hair.
Let me tell you ladies. Nothing more exhilirating.
I chopped off and donated to locks of love 💕.
Since then I go every time I have to chance loving each hair more than the next. Ladies I know It doesn’t sound possible. And yet. Here we are. 💁🏽♀️

Trust Fund 😍💸

As you can see My Salon is better than yours!!!

If you don’t feel like a million bucks like I am in this pic. ☝🏽 You need to find a new place.
I hope that everyone finds their “Erica” lol.
Happy Chopping. 🙂💋
