What blogging really means

So, a lot of people have a misconception of what my job really is. To be honest it's kind of embarrassing.
Not what I do because I love it, but the politics of it.
I can't tell you how many times I'm asked at dinner or out to lunch either with groups of people or meeting someone new,
"Yes, but how do you make money?"
If I offend you please don't be but, it's offensive. I don't ask a teacher what her benefits are? I mean right.
I mean this in all good fun here.
Writing a blog, the one that you read that only takes 3 minutes? Takes sometimes up to four hours to make.
You read that correctly.
You see, I only post about things that I stand behind. I get products as gifts FREQUENTLY , and I'm going to make sure
the product is safe, that It's what I stand behind, and that it's what it says it is.
I would never promote something I've never actually used myself first.
Sometimes it takes weeks for things to be delivered. Sometimes, overnight.
I do make compensations from ads, I do make percentages of things that are sold that I feature ( or featured ) on my Instagram, and other partnerships that are behind the scenes.
So yes. Please buy through my Amazon Account. Click on those ads.
Every time I write about a post, I do research and there is the direct link to product that you purchase.
I've taken photography classes, business webinars, and input from countless people who are highly respected in their field. I do the coding, the SEO's. All of it. And it blew up instantly and I'm so happy and grateful for you guys that do read.
So, that's what this is. :) And I love it.
So thank you to all the lovelies and all the input I get back. I love what I do and I get to spend time with my children while doing it. It's our livelihood.
Pease and Hairgrease,
Cait
