Slime

So over the weekend the weather was a little touch and go. It was a nice 4 days, but if yours was like ours we half our plans were spoiled due to the weather so. We found that with a few simple ingredients, that were literally next to nothing you could have a fun homemade project. =) And yes. I made slime.
So what you will need:
Clear Elmers glue, or white. We used clear.
Borax ( you can find it in the laundry detergent isle. Its like 2 dollars.)
and Glitter.
Steps:
Mix 1/2 cup of glue and 1/2 a cup of luke warm water in a bowl. Stir until glue dissolves completely.
Add food coloring if desired. We just had new countertops put in, and I didn't want to take the risk of staining so we used glitter.
Mix 1/2 to 1 tsp. of Borax in 1/2 cup of warm water. Until the borax dissolves.
Add the glue mixture to the Borax mixture. You will start to notice it form instantly. If you want to have the mixture set. I would recommend storing it in a tupperware container and putting it in the fridge for a few minutes. Knead the mixture with your hands and voila Ladies and Gentlemen, you have slime.
The tupperware is nice too actually because it gives them a place to store it. And if it was anything like we had when we were kids, as soon as it hit the floor it was ruined. We haven't had this happen. *Yet. ;)
It literally took about 5 minutes, and she loved it because she made it herself. Its a nice alternative to a fidget spinner. And you can make it over and over again. Enjoy! =)
