Ever since I was a babysitter and then when I had my first child I learned the immense impact that a card board box had.
I would take one outside and they would create and color for hours. Making into whatever their imagination was.
You remeber Christmas morning with that car or favorite toy. Only to have them push it aside and climb and play in the box?
Kids crave and want to explore.
Lego is derived from the danish word literally meaning to ’play’ or play well.
To gather. Now instead of our kids building and. Creating using their own imaginations. There are pre planned. Assinine. Pre packages buildings. They come with instructions. You have to have an adult with you present to even do it.
I don’t know about you but whatever happened to playing.
Im now that weirdo that saves egg cartons. Milk cartons. Lights and my daughter makes her little own cities. And she loves it.
Here are some Of my favorite cardboard pieces made by adults.
Who never lost their creativity.
Don‘t think INSIDE the box ;)
