Okay so are we ready? Grab your glass of wine 🍷 or late night cup of coffee or whatever it is you like to drink because we’re gonna be sitting here for a while.
Champs? 🥂
Good.
So now that spring is 🤞🏽, finally here. We can maybe start to bust out some of our spring wardrobes?
I have the hardest time, esp. where we live. (Upstate New York) ( real, upstate New York) where it’s almost 7 and it’s actually raining out. We’re in March people. (Global warming much)
So navigating what to wear can be extremelyyyyy challenging especially when the weather doesn’t cooperate, and practically changes on the daily. So in Lew of all these things happening here are a couple of basic transition pieces that are favorites of mine that should help on those days where the weather isn’t just right, but you still want to remain fashionable.
Happy viewing. 😉
The Trench
This is a spring staple. And the most obvious piece. I have a hard time because I am VERY picky. Styles and trends change and a lot is oversized these past two seasons but I still like what I like so I’ll try to accommodate.
This is available at Gap for Almost half it’s asking price.

TENCEL Drappy Trench Coat $69.99

It’s very in right now. If you like the more modern take on a classic, that goes with almost anything and weather suited. This is a good one.
Second
The military jacket
J.Crew

So, if I had to move to a remote island and only bring one thing that I could be photographed in, it would be this jacket.
I mean look at it.
I got a jacket from here a few years back ( which I still wear to this day and it was a women’s petite ( I’m 5’10” and I didn’t care, I rocked the ish out of it because I loved it so much) These are the feelings I have for this jacket. In fact, I may not want to share this with you. I mean. Really.
White Tees
So, when I like to go out for just a regular day. I like to just have T-shirt’s that you can throw on that will go with practically everything. White T-shirt’s pretty much fit that bill.

I like to shop at Marshall’s for things like this. You can usually find T-shirt’s in 7 or eight styles and colors for under 10 dollars, right now at Gap though you can get this for only 15 bucks.
So leading me to the end, it’s not my favorite and it’s probably my height but you gotta cater to the masses so, it’s you guessed it, the ballet flat.
Ballet Flat
Coach $150

These are so cute and an alternative to the classic Black and Tan. And I’d actually wear these, I love the white against the tan I think it’s just pops and is fresh for spring.
So there you have it,
Next week I will be posting some of my top picks from Versace’s Spring 2018 line, which I can barely contain myself.
Stay Dry 😉🍷 🌧
