Finding unique buys whether it be for your personal home, or office space. Really gives customers the opportunity to express themselves.
Making a first impression is huge in human interaction. The space you inhibit or work out of is no different.
I believe that every person has some thing, or some belief, and their home or office should reflect that sentiment.
Think of the first time you visited TAO. Atlantis. Nosh and Chow.
Were you not in awe?
Your entryway is your calling card, establishment; your bread and butter and your closing?
Well, that's up to you.

While shopping for peoples spaces, whether it be home or office. Antique buys are by far my favorite.
Curating pieces to fit the space is a personal touch made by you and fit by me.

I love Antiques. The smell, the thing you never even knew existed. The haggle.
Oh the haggle.
In my many years of searching and buying antiques, I've never found two in the same.
It's like people.
That's what makes it interesting.
The last two weeks I've visited a few places, all of which are here in Upstate New York.
Very exclusive, highly respected, upper crust.
I've seen things from your grandmothers ashtrays to Nazi memorabilia.
You heard correct, Nazi. Memorabilia.
The Man I was with said not to go near it. Bad Juju. I wanted to buy it, just so I could destroy it.
Different cloths I guess.

I recently was in a Jeweler's establishment and saw one of these the week after I found this.
It's custom pieces with relevance that stand out and make an interior more interesting.

When planning for spaces I like to take something and take it to the next level.
Psychologist?
Rorschach Gallery Wall.
Chief of Police?
Frank Sinatra's head shot.
That was not actually mine, but a friend of mines Father. I was 19 and had never seen it. It was pretty bad ass.
My point being. When decorating spaces, I like to avoid how to do say Basic? And go a little more Avant-garde.

There's so many places I've seen. Most of which whom were office spaces just happened to have the most exquisite pieces, whether it made sense to you. Or not. Always making a lasting impression.

Lawyers office with a Antique Scuba Divers Helmet in the entryway.
Actual running water along the flooring lit up by underwater lighting alongside the hallway in a loft.
Always leaving your eyes wandering to other parts of the room.
Those are the types of things that make a statement when entering a room, and then leave a lasting impression.
I wish I had these said examples to show but alas, they were in my past. So here's hopes to the future to the many new adventures, and the finds within them.
If you are an owner of any said space. Please feel free to contact me. I'd be more than happy to oblige, to search for those one of a kind pieces and to leave you with exquisite, exclusive, one of a kind conversation piece.
To leave your visitors, in awe, and may I frankly say, fascinated.
